God my savior
My life has turned out completely differently than I imagined. I've experienced devastating blows: a car accident involving my then-husband that left us hovering between life and death for eight weeks. During this time, I realized I am a woman of hope. Then came the breakdown of my marriage. I was in great distress, and God gave me a vision: "My house shall become a house of prayer." The "FamilyHomes" network was born. Finally, the profound shock of my life came with the sudden accidental death of my son. "God, what do you have to say to me in this endless pain?"

My journey of faith
Faith has shaped my life since my youth. I was baptized and raised Catholic. In my early twenties, I spent six months living in a contemplative community. Through the first major upheaval of my life (2013), I realized that there is no security in life except in God. This realization led me to a new dimension of my faith and life. God began to renew my heart through a journey into my past and my family background. Many years of intensive self-reflection through therapy and prayer followed. At the same time, I drew closer to God, and He drew closer to me. Daily personal prayer and Bible reading have since become integral to my everyday life. My heart opened to ecumenism, my mind searched for the voice of God, and the longing for true life in Him grew ever stronger. The prayer room in my house became the center of my daily life.
